To Make You Proud of Me!

How can I start a Monday without you here?
Am I too late? Has the flag began to be raised?
This calls for some words, I never get to go away
What will I do? You know I'm dead for sure without you
How can I push this through?

If my grades could make you proud of me,
If only this laziness could go away
What I would do, what I would give if you've
rewarded me, someday, somehow, someway
If my grades could make you proud of me...

I'll not open my facebook, if you'll let me research again
Studies emotions will touch your heart, I know they can
Just pens will guide you and your mind to write my scores
Soon you'll be gifted with my honor for all

Look in my notes and you'll see
A million pens may have died
and still I will buy

If only my grades could make
you proud of me
If only my laziness would go away
What I would do, what I would give if you've
rewarded me, someday, somehow, someway
If my grades could make you proud of me...

I'll go onstage and shout the words
I only whisper before.
For one more chance,
For one last test, I'll study 'til dawn

If only my grades could make
you proud of me
If only my laziness would go away
What I would do, what I would give if you've
rewarded me, someday, somehow, someway
If my grades could make you proud of me...

> This song I made is for my teachers. Since they always give a lot of their time to teach students like me. I'd like to make them proud someday. For me, they aren't only people whom we learn from everyday but also our heroes that save us from falling into the wrong path and onto the road of success.

* This song was based from one of my favorite songs. If Only Tears Could Bring You Back by Midnight Sons.

I'm in for a Treat

This day we had our National Career Assessment Examination or NCAE. I got included in the second batch since there was some sort of lack in questionnaires. I arrived at school before 12 noon together with my classmate Darlene. We're still on our way in when we met up with Ainah. She was informed that the examination may start maybe 1:00 PM or even 2:00. Since she was given that information, she asked me and Darlene if we could go with her to PUP to attend a bible study. At that time, I shrugged my shoulders because I haven't even seen an actual bible study before nor even attended once. Darlene also wasn't very sure if she'd like to go. Just when we were talking at the gate, Thea arrived. Ainah also invited Thea to go with us. In the end, all agreed to go after Thea had put her things down. I wasn't very sure of my decision to go so I just stood at their back as they began to walk. Ainah indeed wanted me to come. I just thought since she knew many things about my life. I've got no other choice but to go since she's my friend. When we arrived at the place, the event was already over. Some people there told us that maybe we can stop by some other time.

After that, we went straight back to school. Ainah and I decided to stay at the staircase of the building to wait for the start of examinations. We talked a while and I told her some of the things I'm currently in for. And so she just told me to go for it, buy some time and take the opportunity. I thought about those stuff even during the time of the exam, good thing that it didn't distract me too much. We managed to finish the examination at a very short period of time, so we were dismissed early. My mom wasn't there yet when I went out, because I told her that it would have been until six. Ainah went on ahead to stroll around town, so I was left alone to wait for my mom. It's almost dark and my mom wasn't there yet. Luckily for me, nurse Tin offered me her phone so that I could call my mom. She immediately answered and later on picked me up. But that wasn't the end of my awesome day.

My mom and I went to Jollibee in Tanza for a family dinner as celebration of my grandfather's (father's side) birthday. That event was quite an unusual event for me. Some of the people there were all part of my past that came back to me. I haven't seen some of them for a few years since then. I even saw and met some of my cousins, aunts, uncles and even my stepbrothers and stepsisters. Well, as we all know, some things must just be put behind in our past. So honestly, I did enjoy that night.

"That's all folks! Until next time!"
